Marketing Intern

SOLINK Group helps commercial and industrial businesses take control of their energy — solar PV and hybrid installations, C&I energy solutions and PPAs, energy trading and wheeling, and energy advisory. We are looking for a Group Marketing Intern to support the Marketing Manager with brand and marketing tasks across SOLINK, SOLTRAK and Energy Brokers, while gaining hands-on experience in marketing and the renewable energy space.

What you will be doing

Content and social

  • Schedule and publish approved LinkedIn content across the three entities
  • Conduct blog interviews with staff within the group
  • Repurpose long-form content into shorter posts, carousels and newsletter items
  • Assist with content ideas and coordinating content calendars
  • Track competitor and company LinkedIn activity
  • Maintain a library of approved brand assets

Websites and digital

  • Update website content across the three sites via Lovable (AI-powered website)
  • Support the Marketing Manager with ongoing website content and optimisation work
  • Load new blogs and resources to the relevant site

Design and asset production

  • Format and resize digital assets for LinkedIn, web and email
  • Build simple graphics, carousels, banners and other collateral in Canva from approved templates
  • Assist with updating company presentations, slide decks and proposals
  • Keep brand asset folders organised and version-controlled

Reporting and analytics

  • Pull marketing analytics and compile monthly and quarterly performance reports
  • Track campaign and lead-generation metrics
  • Maintain a simple dashboard of key marketing numbers across the three brands
  • Summarise results and flag trends to the Marketing Manager

Required

  • Own laptop
  • Recently graduated with a degree or diploma in marketing, communications, media, digital marketing or a related field
  • Reside in and around Cape Town
  • Valid driver's licence and own transport
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and Canva
