Overview:
SOLINK is looking for a young engineering intern with a passion for renewable energy to join our team in
Black River Park, Observatory, Cape Town on a 6-month contract to start asap.
About Us/ Company Description:
SOLINK is a specialized renewable energy facilitator that assists C&I companies in taking renewable energy
and storage projects from feasibility to commissioning. SOLINK takes the risk, time, and expense
out of procuring renewable energy solutions. SOLINK has successfully assisted Old Mutual Properties,
British American Tobacco, Siyanda Resources, Liberty Two Degrees, Redefine Properties, Hirt & Carter,
Fortress Reit, AbinBev, Vukile Property Fund, and Heineken South Africa.
What you will be doing:
● Solar PV site yield assessments
● Embedded generation licensing support
● Site tariff analysis
● Energy market research
● Review of solar energy companies
● Document editing and control
● Procurement/ tender support
● Project Administration

Qualification & Skill Requirements:
● Required
BSc Engineering Degree (or similar)
Drivers license
● Beneficial
Autocad LT exposure
Electrical background or experience
Experience with google workplace (docs, sheets, slides)
Understanding/exposure to Python and/or Javascript
Current Masters and PhD students looking for part-time work
Physical Requirements:
● Own Transport
● Own Laptop
● Reside in Cape Town or the immediate surrounds
● Committed to a minimum of 3 days of work per week
