SOLINK is looking for an Accountant / Financial Administrator to join our team at Black River Park, Observatory, Cape Town, to start ASAP. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the renewable energy sector.

SOLINK is a specialised solar consultancy that makes purchasing solar PV or Energy Storage Systems easy, simple, and risk-free, whether through advanced options or direct capital investment. With in-depth knowledge of renewable energy market drivers, the latest technologies, current legislation, and lifecycle processes, SOLINK provides comprehensive services, including system development, construction, financing, procurement, legal contract management, and system performance monitoring.
What you will be doing:
● Supporting financial administration tasks, including invoicing, statements, and credit notes
● Prepare monthly Budgets, forecasts and reconciliations
● Handling follow-ups on overdue invoices and requests for purchase orders
● Supporting payroll, VAT, and EMP201 payments
● Working with the external accounting consultants and CFO
● Performing general office duties to assist senior management and other team members
● Assisting with general office administration, including document storage and fi ling
● Managing correspondence with clients via email and phone

Qualification & Skill Requirements:
Required:
● Relevant diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, Financial Administration, or similar
● NQF Level 5 or 6 in a financial discipline
● Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting / Financial Administration or related roles
● Strong organisational and communication skills
● Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Beneficial:

● BCompt or similar
● Studying toward SAIPA / SAICA / CIMA
● Experience with Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
● Financial administration knowledge
● Experience with Xero
Physical Requirements:
● Own transport
● Valid driver’s license
● Must reside in Cape Town or the immediate surrounding areas
